i think i've had empanadas once. its going to be pretty sad and it's really hard to admit. alright... the ones from taco bell. yah you heard me right... it's embarrassing!
there were all types of fillings for these empanadas: boiled egg, apple, sweet potato, wild rice, mushrooms, roasted peppers, cheese, spices, herbs. the kids were funny- over stuffing, making ones that looked like dumplings and tortellini.
bill, the owner and chef of the bread workshop was very enthusiastic and talked to the kids about textures of food and how he got into cooking.
