got "lost" finding cafe fanny - i went to cedar and san pablo! but their "other" kitchen is on 5th and cedar across the street from clif bar! cafe fanny has THE BEST granola - i stole* a box during berkeley project. it's that good. [*note: i think i should amend that statement. instead of stole, i took a box for myself and didn't share it with others]
Sally, the pastry chef she was so awesome to come and teach the kids on her day off. she talked about what "in season" means and when different fruit are "in season".
note: need work on my color balance/lighting with indoor photography... i bought a Nikon speedlight SB-600, haven't been bold enough to use it.... any suggestions on settings, etc?
